The charming sounds of the Caribbean are best heard when played with a steelpan. Adopted from eastern Caribbean islands, the steelpan has been introduced to Aruba during its Carnival. Made originally from old oil barrels, the steelpan is now recognized as a musical instrument. Bucuti also offers a live DJ for your wedding event or simply bring your own playlist on an Ipod or CD and we’ll play it during your ceremony using our wireless speakers.

A Native Aruban, Lee Connor has a special talent for playing the challenging steelpan drums, and he even comes by it naturally! Catch Lee's steelpan and saxophone magic at Bucuti this year and help him form an "instant band" by taking up some of his other instruments for an unforgettable live jam. Cyclone Promotions is owned and managed by Mr. Tino Daal, a local entrepreneur. Cyclone Promotions will provide a DJ with music of your choice from a large selection at $215 per hour. Also available is a live steelpan musician for $180 per hour. Sample Playlist (PDF)

You may choose to bring your own music with an I-pod or CD. Bucuti can provide the use of wireless speakers for your entertainment during the reception. Please provide your music in advance so that we may be certain the system functions properly.
